Crespi jumps to early lead

All it took was a couple big plays for Crespi to take a 13-0 lead over St. Bonny midway through the first quarter.
Celts’ linebacker Chris Carter recovered a Tony Macarena fumble in the end zone on the first play of scrimmage to put them up, 6-0, before RB Austin Shanks scored a few minutes later on a 29-yard TD run.
The only sad thing is there aren’t too many people here to see the game. After last week’s 5,000-plus crowd at the St. Bonny-Oaks Christian game, there may be only around 1,000 in attendance tonight at Pierce College.
