A report from third-seeded Valencia is that Jessica Spigner homered to tie the score at 1-1 with visiting Corona in the fifth inning of another Division I quarterfinal.

The word is that host Garden Grove Pacifica leads third-seeded Lakewood, 1-0, in the fourth inning of a Division II quarterfinal.
