Girls’ basketball: Mater Dei advances at the Nike Interstate Shootout in Oregon

Mater Dei defeated Jefferson Oregon, 74-55, Saturday night in the opening round of the Nike Interstate Shootout at Lake Oswego High in Oregon.
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Mater Dei, the top-ranked team in the nation, according to MaxPreps. Jessica Duarte added 18 points and Taylor Spears had 16 points and eights rebounds.
Sophomore Jordan Adams didn’t play because of a sprained ankle, and Mater Dei assistant coach Christine Collins-Kiernan told the Orange County Register that Adams is questionable for Monday’s game.
