Junior Steve Criss, brought in to pitch in the top of the sixth, escaped a bases-loaded, no-outs situation by getting a strikeout and double play, enabling Cypress Oxford Academy to maintain its 1-0 lead over Lancaster Desert Christian in the Division 6 final.
