Football: Gardena gets Marine League victory

The Marine League football game between Los Angeles Washington and host Gardena that was halted in the third quarter on Friday because of a melee in the stands will not be resumed.

Gardena will get the victory after leading, 20-7. The schools had the option of resuming the game this week but both schools’ administrations declined, according to assistant commissioner John Aguirre.
