Football: Taft 35, Dorsey 18 (final)

Fifth-seeded Taft has defeated fourth-seeded Dorsey, 35-18, in the quarterfinals of the City Section Division I playoffs. Miles Johnson closed out the scoring on a 41-yard run with 1:19 remaining.

Dominique Harris caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Joseph Gray that had pulled Dorsey to within 28-18 with 2:20 left.

Taft will play the Carson-Garfield winner in next week’s semifinals.
