Santa Margarita is barely hanging in the game against Mission Viejo, trailing, 17-7, at halftime. It took an interception by Johnny Stanton at the two-yard line at the end of the second quarter to give the Eagles a boost.

Santa Margarita has not been able to handle Mission Viejo’s wildcat offense, with Tre Madden’s athleticism and Mission Viejo’s defense the key figures.
