There is little separating the top two seeds so far in the Division V final of the Southern California Regional playoffs. The winner earns a berth in the state final and both teams are playing like they want to be there.

La Jolla Country Day leads Los Angeles Windward 29-26 at halftime. Malina Hood has 10 points and Kelsey Plum has seven for the San Diego Section champion Torreys.

Paris Baird and Imani Stafford have seven apiece for second-seeded Windward.
