Former Santa Ana Mater Dei offensive lineman Khaled Holmes has been switched to center and is scheduled to start for USC this fall.
Holmes played offensive guard last season, but the Trojans need him to perform well at center. He has grown to 6 feet 4, 310 pounds.
He’s the second member of his family to play for the Trojans. His older brother, Alex, a Harvard-Westlake grad, was a tight end at USC.
