Two Found Dead in House Fires

The bodies of two people were found today following pre-dawn fires that injured two firefighters and destroyed a Redondo Beach town house and a house in Eagle Rock.
Firefighters found the body of an unidentified man in a second-floor bedroom of the gutted town house. One firefighter was slightly burned and another injured an arm battling the 4:45 a.m. fire. In Eagle Rock, firefighters responding to a 5 a.m. blaze found a body burned beyond recognition in the bedroom of an Argus Drive home. Police say the man may have been shot to death before the fire was set.
