Computer Tells Energy Costs of New Homes

TOLEDO, Ohio — Home buyers can now learn the estimated heating and cooling costs of new homes before they are built by using a computerized design system.
The computer program analyzes almost every element of the construction process for a home to project an estimated annual heating and cooling cost.
