President’s Tax Proposals
There is an old saying--never believe what a politician says, watch what he does. Never was that more true than now. This so-called tax reform plan is nothing more than a heavily camouflaged ploy to lower the tax of the wealthy at the expense of the middle class.
The poor are used in this effort as a Trojan horse to beguile a gullible public.
Take the President’s tax situation as an example. Under this new plan he would pay $28,000 less in tax and if the plan is to be revenue neutral, someone has to make up that loss. Guess who? You and I, like always.
Hopefully, this time the American people won’t be taken in by slick, feel-goodism sloganeering by the President.
