A Place to Look for the Good-Looking Alleys

The best-looking alleys (Sam Hall Kaplan, May 26) in Southern California are probably in the Naples area of Long Beach. Since most of the houses face the water, the backs are what visitors see first, and actually they are what the neighbors have to look at most of the time, too.
They are all very proud of their trees, flowers, window boxes and lack of litter. No oil stains, either. The alleys are well traveled and enjoyed by everyone. Go and see for yourself some time! Love your column!
