Walt Disney Productions has chosen its key management team for its newly formed domestic television division: Rich Goldman has been appointed vice president and general sales manager, and James S. Bennett has been named vice president of programming and production.
The company said the division’s top priority will be “packaging and marketing of existing Disney product” to the syndication marketplace, under the direction of Goldman, a former vice president and director of sales at WNEV-TV in Boston. Bennett, the former vice president and general manager of KCBS-TV (Channel 2) in Los Angeles, will oversee Disney’s development of new programming for the syndication marketplace.
