Southern California Edison increased its quarterly common stock dividend to 54 cents a share from 51 cents, payable July 31 to shareholders of record July 5 . . . The Air Transport Assn. reported that airline passenger traffic for last month exceeded any other May on record, rising 14.7% over the previous year.
