E.T. DOESN’T GO BETTER WITH COKE
Having read Wilson’s article on the merchandising of E.T., I’m having a difficult time determining which is more distasteful: his droll attack on Spielberg’s business acumen, or the depiction of E.T. on the cover as a smug cocaine user complete with a coke spoon and razor blade hanging from his neck.
I can’t help wondering if the article would have been so nasty if Spielberg had granted an interview to Wilson.
