‘Cave-in on the Contras ‘

It is disturbing to see the Congress joining the Reagan Administration in its illegal prosecution of a war of aggression against a tiny neighboring state. Our government is drifting toward military intervention in Nicaragua, either by blunder or design, and subverting any hope that a peaceful solution in that war-torn region of the world can be achieved through diplomatic and political means. We must oppose this drift toward war, and urge our government to “give peace a chance!”
