ARTS CENTER REPORT ON KOCE-TV

A progress report on the Orange County Performing Arts Center, now under construction in Costa Mesa, will be given by Center officials on the “Jim Cooper’s Orange County” program, 8:30 p.m. Friday on KOCE-TV (Channel 50).
William Lund, Center board chairman, will be one of the panel members discussing “The Performing Arts Center--Building the Dream.” The other Center officials will be Diane Dailacis, Tom Nielsen and Carol Wilken.
Topics will include the drive to raise $85.5 million to construct and endow the multi-facility complex and the expansion of the Center’s volunteer corps.
Also featured will be a filmed visit to the South Coast Plaza Town Center site of the 3,000-seat multipurpose theater, scheduled to open in 1986.
The “Building the Dream” program will be repeated at 10 a.m. Saturday on Channel 50.
