ONTARIO, Calif. — Police, acting on an anonymous tip, arrested three people and recovered $100,000 in band equipment stolen from Donny and Marie Osmond, authorities said.
Steve Davis, 24, of Los Angeles, and Percy Brown Jr., 40, and Georgia Marie Williams, 26, both of Ontario, were arrested Thursday night, Capt. Wayne Simmons said Friday.
They were being held in lieu of $230,000 bail each at the San Bernardino County Jail, where they were booked for investigation of possessing stolen property, he said.
The Osmonds’ crew stayed overnight at an Ontario hotel after the Osmonds performed Wednesday in Victorville. The next morning, a rented van containing the gear, as well as one of Marie Osmond’s dresses, valued at $8,000, was discovered missing from the hotel parking lot.
