About the Tips item “Trail Ride” (July 14): Dana and John’s last name is Burden, not Vurden. I have had the pleasure of taking many trips with the Burdens. There is no better way to experience Monument Valley than by horseback. The item neglected to mention that one need not take a horse. Excellent rental horses can be arranged, and in fact, the majority of people on the trip do rent horses. Also, riders of all abilities participate in these rides. Novice riders do just fine. All that is required is a love of the outdoors.
