Searchers found the body of a Redondo Beach man in the Kern River Canyon near the spot where they found his sister’s body. Kern County sheriff’s deputies said members of the department’s search and rescue team found the body of Tony Haywood, 27, in the same area of the river gorge where the body of his sister, Robin Haywood, 20, was found Tuesday wedged beneath a tree. The two were last seen Saturday afternoon inner-tube riding in the river and were reported missing by a companion on Sunday.
