The body of a 41-year-old woman was found in her home Tuesday, authorities reported.
Neighbors entered the home of Karen Taylor, who lived alone on the 100 block of Elm Street, about 9:30 a.m. because she failed to respond to phone calls, a Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman said.
The fully clothed body was lying on the floor in a bedroom. The cause of death was not apparent. An autopsy will be performed.
Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the victim’s white 1982 Ford Escort, which is missing, the spokeswoman said.
