Reagan plans to nominate Fleischman to the SEC.

Edward H. Fleischman of New York will succeed James C. Treadway as a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the White House announced. Fleischman, a lawyer, is a partner in the firm of Gaston Snow Beekman & Bogue. The White House also said President Reagan plans to nominate Jennifer Lynn Dorn, director of the office of commercial space transportation in the Transportation Department, as associate deputy secretary of transportation. In addition, the White House said Reagan plans to nominate Bruce Marshall Carnes, assistant to the secretary of education, as deputy undersecretary of education for planning, budget and evaluation.
