Dana Point : Facilities for Sailing Groups to Be Dedicated
- Share via
A cluster of New England-style buildings and docks, called the Dana Point Youth and Group Facility, will be dedicated at 10 a.m. today on the site at the west end of Dana Point Harbor.
Three buildings, painted gray and trimmed in white and with sloping roofs, plus docks for sailboats, have been completed by the Orange County Environmental Agency at a cost of more than $1 million.
They will serve community organizations such as the Sea Scouts, Saddleback College, Cal State Fullerton, the Laguna Beach Recreation Department and others, providing access to sailing classes and other maritime activities.
