FALL SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS : Cal Lutheran Buries Pt. Loma

Cal Lutheran College’s women’s volleyball team beat Point Loma Nazarine College Friday night in three games, 15-8, 15-7, 15-7.
Jill Koscinski led the win with 11 kills on 24 attempts and 14 blocks. CLC is now 10-5 overall and 3-2 in NAIA District III play.
Sean Jackson completed six of 10 passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns to lead Cal Christian to a 26-6 win over Walden in an eight-man football game.
Tom Harris caught two touchdown strikes from Jackson, one from 21 yards in the first quarter and another from 34 yards in the third quarter.
Cal Christian improved its record to 1-2 in Heritage League play, while Walden dropped to 2-2 in Collegiate League play.
Royal’s water polo team beat Thousand Oaks, 9-7.
Greg Frazier had five goals for Royal, while Dain Hurst chipped in two more. Royal is 9-3 overall and 3-0 in Marmonte League play. Thousand Oaks is 2-1 in league.
Campbell Hall High defeated visiting Cate, 15-6, 15-9, 15-2 in a nonleague volleyball match. Campbell Hall is 9-3 this season.
