The Traffic Diverters on Memory Lane in Santa Ana
- Share via
I was one of the victims of Santa Ana’s “crackdown” on drivers making illegal right runs between 6 and 9 a.m. (Times, Oct. 2).
On the way to my first day of jury duty at the Santa Ana Courthouse, I became completely lost, and my friendly Thomas Bros. map directed me to take a right on Flower Street from Memory Lane.
I fell in line behind various other criminal types and received my $52 ticket for this dastardly moving violation. I spent a recent Saturday at an eight-hour traffic school to repay my debt to society.
Santa Ana, an all-American city (so they say), gave me a “red carpet treatment” that I would hope other law-abiding citizens can avoid.
