‘Smart’ Building Is Scheduled for Santa Ana

Construction will start next spring on a $5.5-million, 50,510-square-foot office building at 1770 N. Broadway, Santa Ana, to be known as Broadway Plaza. Completion is scheduled for the summer of 1987.
Developer is BACS Development Inc., with Awdeh & Co., and BACS will serve as general contractor. Architerra Inc. of Orange County is the architect of the five-story “smart” building, which will be fitted with in-house computer capacity and a sophisticated telecommunications system, including a rooftop satellite dish.
