France Memories

I returned from the handicapped “French Fantasy” trip full of treasured memories. It was the most delicious trip, on an incredible bus for the handicapped. If you must be in a wheelchair, what a time to do it! The bus and driver (George) and guide (Claude from Treasure Tours), all put together by Joan Diamond of Valley Oaks Travel, were superb. The trip showed much planning and we were the recipients of much good thinking. Thanks to Jerry Hulse for sharing it with us. We were in the courtyards at Versailles and the palace at Monaco. Made a stir in small towns of Vallauris, Eze, Aixen-Provence, Beaune.
Joan Diamond, our guide, kept saying, “Not to worry,” and that is the name of this trip, in my book. Lost luggage? Bath not big enough for a wheelchair? Not to worry--just lean back and drink in serenity from the Burgundy Canal and stately poplars.
