During an extended stay in Southern California this summer, I especially enjoyed the articles comments and recommendations about bed and breakfast, as it is our own favorite style of accommodations. I would like to share an excellent book, “cooking Inn Style” by Helene Leichter-Saxby, country inn recipes from England, Ireland, Wales and New England as well as favorites from her husband’s English family.
It can be ordered from Cooking Inn Style, P.O. Box 153, Wilkinsonville, Mass. 01590 for $11.20 post-paid. We are awaiting the publication of Book II in the series, which will feature inns in California and other Western states.
