Reggie Wauls and Karen Lontka have been selected as players of the month at Cal State Northridge.

Wauls, a 6-0, 210-pound junior linebacker on the Matador football team, had 17 tackles in games against Cal State Hayward and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He also was named player of the week in the Western Football Conference for his efforts against Hayward.

Lontka, a 5-11 junior middle blocker from Redondo Beach, had 17 kills in a game against Chapman and was a key player for the Lady Matadors against Division I competition at the UCLA National Invitational Tournament.
