Business Center Work Under Way

Construction is under way on the $4.5-million Mission Valley Business Center being developed by American Assets Inc. at 4600 Alvarado Canyon Road, San Diego.
The 62,290-square-foot commercial/industrial complex will include a two-story commercial/retail structure fronting on Interstate 8 and two one-story buildings. According to Mark Singerman, vice president of American Assets, there is a very low vacancy rate for retail, office and industrial space in the east end of Mission Valley.
Architectural design was done by Hedenkamp & Associates, and the general contractor is Ninteman Construction Co. Construction financing is by the Bank of America.
