Skier Rok Petrovic of Yugoslavia clinched at least a tie for the World Cup slalom title, edging Sweden’s Ingemar Stenmark for his fourth victory of the season at Lillehammer, Norway.
Third-place finisher Marc Girardelli of Luxembourg extended his lead in the overall standings.
Two of the five Americans in the 85-man field completed both runs. Tiger Shaw of Stowe, Vt., was 23rd and Dan Stripp of Old Forge, N.Y., finished 27th.
