Los Angeles Marathon

Los Angeles’ first marathon was also my first marathon and participating in it turned out to be a rewarding experience. I look forward to next year.
Everyone associated with the race was friendly, supportive and helpful and I want to thank everyone involved for their efforts. But I especially want to extend thanks to all the people who lined the sidewalks lending their verbal support, enthusiasm, fresh lemonade, orange sections and music. Without them the Los Angeles Marathon would not have been the success it was, nor would it have been as much fun for the participants.
Thank you, Los Angeles, for turning out in such great numbers for this event. I hope you’ll be there next year, too.
