Rescue workers in Singapore pulled two men from the rubble of a six-story hotel and were tunneling toward more people believed still alive in the ruins. The two survivors, who were entombed for 36 hours after the New World Hotel collapsed, were taken to hospitals. Their condition was not immediately known. The confirmed death toll rose to 10 as more bodies were recovered, and 61 people were still missing. Rescuers believe that at least seven people may be alive in the rubble.
