No. 5 Hawaii Beats SDSU

SAN DIEGO — The No. 5 University of Hawaii volleyball team defeated No. 10 San Diego State Friday night, 15-9, 15-13, 15-9, in a California Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. match.
Pono Maa had 23 kills to lead Hawaii (9-3 in conference and 12-5 overall). John Forrest and John Eddo had 28 and 24 kills.
