Border Patrol agents raided a house in San Ysidro early Thursday and apprehended 71 people who are believed to be illegal aliens, a patrol spokesman said.
Ed Pyeatt said the house in the 400 block of West San Ysidro Boulevard was placed under surveillance earlier this week and was raided before dawn without incident. The investigation also turned up two automobiles, one of which is believed to have been stolen.
Some of those apprehended will face prosecution, while others are being processed for deportation, Border Patrol officials said. The group included four women and a child.
