Chapman Is Edged by Cal Poly Pomona

Steve Manes hit a bases-empty home run in the top of the 10th inning Thursday to give Cal Poly Pomona a 3-2 California Collegiate Athletic Assn. victory over Chapman College at Hart Park.
Charlie Webb got the win and Jon Hulshof took the loss.
Chapman, which is 5-7 in conference and 13-21 overall, plays host to Riverside again today at 2:30.
