Runner Dies After Collapse

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Douglas C. Zefting, 34, died today, one day after he collapsed in the heat while running in the annual Lilac 10K Road Race, one of the biggest running events in Upstate New York. Zefting was one of 17 runners who were treated for heat-related illnesses during and after the 6.2-mile race.
