Her Topless Stroll Just Wasn’t Cricket

LONDON — A 22-year-old woman brought a cricket match to a halt today at Lord’s, traditional home of the sport, by strolling out onto the field clad only in a pair of white bikini panties.

Ashley Sommers, interrupting a match between India and England, carried a banner saying, “Bring back Botham.” Ian Botham, one of Britain’s top sports stars, has been temporarily suspended from first-class cricket for smoking marijuana.

Summers was taken off the field by two policemen. A friend told reporters Sommers did it because she is a big fan of Botham and had had a large cocktail at lunch.
