SLY ENDING

In a final draft script for the now-filming “Over the Top,” starring Sly Stallone as an arm wrestling trucker, climactic scenes find Our Hero losing a big championship arm wrestling match.

Afterward, there’s a rather touching encounter between Stallone and his 12-year-old son, who adoringly tells his dad, “You lost like a winner.”

But now comes word from a source close to Cannon Films that Stallone (who scripted) has recently written an alternate ending--in which he wins.

Both scenes will reportedly be filmed, then screened for test audiences before the film opens in December.
