Edward Young, American Cytogenetics’ executive vice president and chief operating officer, will run the company until a successor is found, the company said.
The company, which was planning to move its corporate headquarters to San Diego, where Lawrence has a home, said it now plans to keep the headquarters in North Hollywood.
American Cytogenetics earned $67,447 in the year ended Jan. 31 on revenue of $4.1 million.
