The Senate approved a two-year extension of export controls designed to prevent sophisticated technology and other goods useful in warfare from falling into Communist hands. The bill, which now goes to the House, would authorize $35.9 million for enforcement in each of the next two fiscal years, up from $29.4 million approved for the current fiscal year.
