A fire that swept through a market in Westminster’s “Little Saigon” and quickly destroyed two neighboring stores, causing $1.5-million damage, was being investigated by a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arson task force, authorities said. They said the blaze in the Wai Wai Market attracted their attention because it began about midnight and burned with unusual speed. The owner of the market, Chuong Huu Duong, reportedly filed for bankruptcy in April. One firefighter suffered a minor injury and three other businesses were damaged by smoke.
