UNITED NATIONS — U.N. Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar, 66, left the intensive careunit at Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday, reflecting an improvement in his condition after quadruple-bypass heart surgery last week, a U.N. spokesman said.
