Kay Jewelers of Alexandria, Va., said it has agreed to buy the J.B. Robinson Co. retail jewelry firm from its parent, W.R. Grace & Co. for about $55 million. . . . About 400 union members walked off their jobs Monday at General Motors’ Technical Center in Warren, Mich., expanding a strike over jobs lost to non-union workers when the No. 1 auto maker transferred a research project and some offices elsewhere.
