Richard R. Luehrs, executive director of the Newport Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed as the 1986-87 president of the Federated Chambers of Commerce of Orange County. He succeeds Doris Lindsey, former executive of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce.
Luehrs had been executive vice president and manager of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce from 1978 until 1982, when he joined the Newport Harbor Chamber in his current position.
