An autopsy failed to reveal the cause of death of a newborn baby girl whose body was discovered floating in the Pacific about 150 feet off Orange County’s Sunset Beach, but pathologists were able to determine that the infant died within the last five days, authorities said. Further tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine whether the baby was stillborn, died of natural causes and was discarded at sea or was the victim of homicide.
