Losing Brings Out Beast in Some Trojan Fans

Tollner said after the loss to ASU: “ . . . We came out on the short end, but there were no losers. That’s my philosophical approach.” Right. Perhaps a win would have enabled the “old philosopher” to distinguish a little more clearly between winning and losing. Just try to tell (UCLA Coach Terry) Donahue that he didn’t win last week. And try to convince Joe Kapp he came out on the short end but, not to worry, there were no losers.
Face it, Tollner. You’re a loser. We want a winner.
Verily, let it be said: We come to bury Ted Tollner, not to praise him!
