The Queen Mary’s Launch

First of all I must tell you that I read View every time it appears, and the new Saturday View is just up my street.

I write to tell you that “the captain” of the Queen Mary is not the only one to have seen it launched (Paul Dean, Oct. 4). I am an Englishwoman who has been living in the U.S.A. about 12 years. I went to Scotland with my husband in 1935, and we went to see the QM launched. I am now 82 1/2 years old, but, as Dean says, still think of QM as belonging to England.
