Local News in Brief : Woman Gets 6 Years in Boyfriend’s Slaying

A 30-year-old Arleta woman was sentenced Friday to six years in state prison for stabbing her boyfriend to death last year in a Panorama City bar after she became jealous because he was talking to other women.
Susan Baumgardner pleaded guilty in April to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the Feb. 27, 1985, death of Darral Lee McNulty, 29, in the Little Vegas bar where she worked as a bartender.
